How to use voucher codes and check the real saving

A voucher code is useful when it reduces the cost of something you already planned to buy. Start with your shopping list and spending limit, then look for an offer that matches. The largest percentage on a page is not necessarily the lowest price for your basket.
Start with the right retailer and basket
Search DailyCodes for the shop or product category. Open the offer details and check which products qualify. Look for a minimum spend, a new-customer restriction, a country requirement or an exclusion for sale items. An offer can be relevant to the shop without applying to every product it sells.
Reveal the code, then check at checkout
If an offer supplies a code, use Get Code and copy it carefully. Continue to the retailer and enter it in the promotional-code field. If no code is needed, follow the offer instructions instead. Do not assume that clicking an offer automatically changes the basket price.
Compare the amount you will actually pay
Check the discount shown in the retailer’s order summary, then include delivery and any optional extras. Compare that total with another suitable offer. For example, a hypothetical £40 basket with £4 off and £5 delivery totals £41; an unchanged £40 basket with free delivery would cost less. These figures illustrate the calculation and are not a live promotion.
If a code is not accepted
Check spelling, eligibility and the qualifying basket before trying another relevant offer. Do not add an unwanted item simply to reach a threshold. A retailer may change a promotion, so the checkout result matters more than an earlier headline.
Your final check
- Is this the item and quantity you intended to buy?
- Does the retailer show the saving in the final total?
- Have you checked delivery, timing and the applicable terms?
